SHORT BIO
Krithi is a genre-bending producer, remix artist, and DJ renowned for her innovative fusion of sounds from the Indian Subcontinent with electronica, hip-hop, and dance music. With 11 instrumental projects released since July 2020, her work has garnered significant attention, including features in DJ Mag and Mixmag for “Coping Mechanisms” (2024), and a recent highlight in DJ Mag’s “Six Emerging Artists You Need to Hear: June 2025.”
Her tracks have graced the airwaves of BBC Radio, Sirius XM, The Lot Radio, and Refuge Worldwide, and she’s a fixture in NYC’s vibrant club scene, spinning at venues like Silo, Public Records, and Bossa Nova Civic Club, as well as Four Tet & Friends at Brooklyn’s Under the K Bridge in May 2025. Beyond her artistry, Krithi champions music technology accessibility through her work with Building Beats and We Make Noise NYC, and as a cultural ambassador for Next Level USA, facilitating workshops globally.

Krithi is a producer, remix artist and DJ, blending sounds from the Indian Subcontinent with electronica, hiphop & dance music. She has released 11 instrumental only-projects since July 2020. She released “The Abyssal Charm” through Epidemic Sound in November 2024, and self-released “Coping Mechanisms”, which was featured on DJ Mag and Mixmag in February 2024. She was featured again on DJ Mag’s “Six Emerging Artists You Need to Hear: June 2025.”
Her music has been played on BBC Radio, the Lot Radio, Hör, and ZiFM stereo. She has remixed songs for NYC-based electronic and dance artists. Her work also includes vocal + percussion sample packs for Splice and Serato Studio.
She has DJed at venues & spaces like the Lot Radio, Silo, Jupiter Disco, Public Records, Mood Ring, and Bossa Nova Civic Club, to name a few. She has also recorded DJ mixes that have been aired on Radio Alhara, Radio Free Brooklyn, Mode London and Noods Radio. She recently DJed for the UK-based Daytimers Residency at the Jazz Cafe in London in April 2025, and again at Four Tet & Friends at Brooklyn’s Under the K Bridge in May 2025.
When she’s not making music, she works for Building Beats and We Make Noise NYC (fka Beats by Girlz NYC), two organizations dedicated to making music technology more accessible for marginalized communities. She was also appointed as a cultural ambassador through Next Level USA, an international hip hop diplomacy initiative run by the U.S. Department of State, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Meridian International Center. She has facilitated beatmaking and production workshops internationally in cities like Chennai (India) and Harare (Zimbabwe).
